I'd say that the males compete more for the female attention in nature than vice-versa, and usually they look much more beautiful. In humans it's definitely the females which are FAR more beautiful whether it's objectivity or hormones which make me speak like that

In most (all?) species it is the male who searches for the female not the other way round. I should have used another phrase instead 'beauty of females' maybe the 'bounty of females' but I did not wanted to get too much into censored text!
