Males always trapped by the beauty of females!

Enjoy the photo :-)

As far as I know, males always fight and compete and show off etc for having the beauty (='fun' :) ) of females. That was my point.

Tetralonia for sure! Great dynamic picture, pity about that big 'C' on i but of course I understand the reasons.

I'd say that the males compete more for the female attention in nature than vice-versa, and usually they look much more beautiful. In humans it's definitely the females which are FAR more beautiful  whether it's objectivity or hormones which make me speak like that :-D

Thanks for the compliments - yes, the pic is likely to be used for a publication.

In most (all?) species it is the male who searches for the female not the other way round. I should have used another phrase instead 'beauty of females' maybe the 'bounty of females' but I did not wanted to get too much into censored text!
