Pupureum vs Robertianum

Haslam says Orange pollen of robertianum vs yellow of purpureum. Are there better ID features between the two?

I took this one from January for purpureum, for it had not that typical smell of robertianum, I unfortunately find lots of in my garden in Cologne.

according to Weber the robertianum has red pollen, and not orange.

Yes and so I dont think the pollen is a good ID mark.

In the meantime, I checked google and websites and I think there is a mistake where its not the pollen colour whch makes the difference (probably both yellow-orange) but the caolour of the anther (before opening up). In this case G. robertianum have reddish-brown anthers (with yellow-orange pollen).
