Hello- it is my great pleasure to inform you about a new pocket book, which will be available in spring this year!
In this field guide more than 500 species of vascular plants found in Malta are considered, not only the most prevalent species but also rare ones, introduced or indigenous, as well as many of the endemic species that grow nowhere else in the world.
The guide provides short descriptions with notes to the flowering time, place of origin, occurrence and distribution in the Maltese Islands, completed by more than 600 excellent full-colour photographs. An invaluable aid for all plant lovers in Malta, especially students and teachers, or scientists and tourists from all over the world.
For EU countries there is a subscription price (29,00 EURO) for advance bookings until March, 30th, 2006, afterwards the price will be 35,00 EURO, outside the EU the price is 27,10 EURO until March 30th, afterwards 32,71 EURO. Consignment extra to all prices.

Advert permission
I (the administrator) am giving permission and consent to H. C. Weber to announce and publicize his wonderful book as a sign of gratitude for helping this forum and all its members with our plant identification questions.
I will most definitely be buying the book
. The front cover design is very pleasing and professional.
We should be thankful for having knowledgeable botanists who are willing to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with the rest of us- keen, enthusistic amateurs but somewhat lacking in the skills needed to be fully conversant with our flora. We are grateful for being able to benefit from your hard work. THANKS.
Will the book be available off the shelves from major local bookshops? It would save the hassel of having to obtain it by mail order.
