Lots of patience and time, but then I am retired so can afford to waste a couple of hours to get this kind of shot.
Here are some of wasps in flight, and a hummingbird moth.
Hope you enjoy them.

You can use them with pleasure Stephen. You can also have a look at my website and if there any more you like I can let you have them too.MWP admin wrote:Ostra - these qualify as good photos for the National Geographic, but if they dont get through, I will accept them on my website)
You have used at least a shutter spead of 1/5000.
No, only 1/200, I use the flash to freeze the movement. Only problem is that if the background is in the shade it will turn out black (like my avatar).

OK go ahead, can you use the one on the forum or do I have to send it to you as an attachment to an email ?MWP admin wrote:Impressive stills for just 1/200. I really wish to have the humming bird as a start. I am soon going to make an update and will include it. I am just finishing updating my other 8 websites first.

The resolution and size of this image posted here is fine and saves me the work to include the credits.
Just one suggestion
The font you use is not very legible. For example your surnname "Florida" reads something like Houida! The font itself is very nice, it perhaps needs the letters to be spaced a bit away.
Thanks for letting me use the photo

Yes Stephen, I will do them soon.
Unfortunately I have not been well lately, and was not in the mood, but will do Diptera next.

Do these uploads only when you feel to and have good time.
I just bumped in this excellent forum where I promsed to upload them on the web, but at that time it was quite longsome the process (static html) and never found the time. Since the photos are yours, now you can just do that yourself in your name.
In he meantime, I just placed this curious alga:
