caterpillar

I came across this caterpillar at Manikata last week. Does anyone know what species it is ?

saw this post today! no idea what the caterpillar is but seems to be quite a hairy fellow!

Thanks Pine.
Have since found out it is a Grass Egar and that the adult is a beautiful scarlet moth. Have not had the luck to come across one yet.
