I was reading about Aster squamatus and Conyza bonariensis in Haslam's book and I got surprised when I arrived at the flowering periods. According to Haslam:
A. squamatus: Flowers between Jun-Aug.
C. bonariensis: Flowers between Jan-Feb.
According to my observations, the former is in full bloom during September and October while for the South American species, it is almost all year round with flowers, but mostly productive (or conspicuous) during the end of summer and autumn.
