Easy to propagate by seed sown around March, and a fast grower too! Fibres in seed pods should be avoided, it is also known as the "Cow Itch Tree" and for good reason...
I have one I grew from seed and it is now around 35 feet high. Once established it will survive even in a very dry location.
I disagree with the notes found in some places that this tree grows to around 25 feet - it grows larger, several sizeable specimens can be found in Malta and Gozo public gardens that are MUCH larger.
