Post by greenhorn » Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:23 am

Might it be usefull, to place all identified topics in separated folder?

I understand your suggestion and it makes sense, but there are 2 problems that I foresee:

1) That section will get a bit crowded with similar categories

2) The posts are originally written in a manner where the poster asks for for Identification of his plant. To make them fit and suit in the post "Identified plants" I have to edit the posts a bit to make them look as "this photo is the lant Xxx yyy" and it will involve a bit of work to me !!

Otherwise the suggestion was good.

PS: Site Suggestion also refers to the main website - www.maltawildplants.com - hope you know about it!"

That is again the problem with my English! I ment, that there are two folders under the theme " Plant Identification", so that You find one with the open and the other with the closed discussion,
and You have the possibility, to add Your opinion in both.
In this case there is not too much work to do, and everyone can
chose, what he wants to look for.
I hope, I expressed it better now.

Its impossible to recreate another subfolder in the current folders.

However the discussion of identified plants can - as you suggested - be closed. This would be an easy ob for me. But then one cannot input more comments or posts to it in the unlikely case that later on someone would want to add something or more detail about the plant in concern.

So if the you and the members agree with closing discussion of identified plants, for me it can be easily done and I have no objection against it.

Your opinions welcomed.

By closing them does not mean they disappear but that one cannot post/reply anymore... In other words it is locked but still visible !
