Found this strange looking plant in a very damp and dark part of wied incita - sorry the pic is not up to much as it is not a very well lighted area ...so is this a liverwort or what - it is growing with some other moss in the vicinity
thanks for any hints

Yes it is a liverwort and Robcar found something like about 2-3 weeks ago if you browse a bit the ID section. I have already identified the species for him.
Regarding Wied Incita, have you seen that somebody cleared a part of wild plants down the valley bed - just near the stairs and the carrob tree.
There is some photo about this on the illegal setion on this forum

Yes we should stop it because with a bird trap in that location, we could say goodbye to the rest of Wied Incita exploration.
Imagine there was a population of Stachys right there!?
Guys, if you pass bye WI, just take a photo of this clearing and report it to MEPA, dont be passive. PM/email me (or Wolf) for the email of Mepa to report. It will cost you only 5 mins to email a photo and composing a short email message.

I wonder where wolf ended up - last I met him he said that he was busy and not much focused on wild plants.

Hi Stephen
Still around, still do a fair bit of walking - but yes very busy and there is a very dark cloud hovering over where I work....
Other than that very little to complain about
Best wishes for the festive season to everyone on here.

HI WOLF ! Nice to see a post of yours again - thanks to the mosses !! Always welcomed here and best of luck regards the clouds. I too have clouds were I work... but anyway it seems there is plenty of sun outside and clouds anywhere inside offices in Malta!
Keep tuned

PS: I remember a discussion with Wolf that on 8th December it is always sunny in connection with a walk at Selmun and today is 8th December (and again sunny!)
