Lilac blue labiates
I have met this strange plant - new to my eyes - in a garden near our house. At first glance ooks to be either Laminaceae or Verbenaceae.
What it is and is it a wild plant or just a garden cultivar?

i too have something similar - cut a piece from a neighbours roof garden ( neighbour emigrated to gozo a year ago ) i too thought of verbanace but the strange thing with my plant is that the flower smells very spicy - sort of like a curry or a rich gravy sause...strange
