Homalopoma sanguineum

Post by IL-PINE » Tue Mar 30, 2010 1:49 pm

Posting of a frequent species that is usually found beached. Quite a cute shell despite being just 6mm in size. Found all around our shores. This was found beached at Pretty Bay in February 2010.

Very nice shell indeed, one only needs to look at a fresh specimen to understand the 'sanguineum' epithet.
