I second Pine on this - marvel of peru / hummejr is sort of ok as an alien but years back I cultivated it on my sunny terrace and then it takes over with some huge roots/tuber ...awful !
One of my biggest mistakes in my greenfinger days - today I have little time but I intend to start a small indigenous terrace garden soon. I have a struggling sempreviva t'ghawdex to start with
next on list is the unique widnet il-bahar

ps. jackpot I recognised this one - very easy
