Carex sp, probably Carex flacca - I had posted a picture of what looks to be the same plant for identification quite some time ago - in fact it was my first post on the forum

Huh! I am easily fooled by some plants. I spent the day researching Plantago spp.

In Weber's book there is a good tip - "all sedges have edges" referring to the fact that carex spp do not have rounded stems.

Mr. Edwin Lanfranco have further identified the species to Carex flacca subsp. serrulata.

Thanks to all for the ID
