Is this Linaria ?

Post by Glimbo » Wed Jan 23, 2008 9:58 pm

I wasn't able to step off of the path and get up close to this plant at Dinghli Cliffs, where is was growing on the left hand side of the Chapel by the viewing platform.

My guess at this is [/i]Linaria vulgaris -?

Is that in Malta? - I'm asking since you posted on "flora from abroad" topic ! For me it looks like Diplotaxis tenuifolia (Brassicaceae). A close image would be ideal!

Yes MWP, Malta it is. Sorry for the mis-post, I misunderstood the title of the page - to me 'Flora abroad' means 'Flora around in Malta'. I should have posted on the ID page. :?

Cheers for the ID though.
