SEAHORSES ??

Does on find seahoses in the Mediterranean ?

What can you tell me about them.?

Recently in the news, they released some seahoses
in SYDNEY HARBOUR.

The only thing that I can tell you is that we have Seahorses species in Malta (quite beautiful creatures indeed) and one species mention in the WildLife of theMaltese Islands is Hippocampus hippocampus.

we have 2
Hippocampus hippocampus
and
Hippocampus ramulosus.

Wasn't a population of the H. ramulosus killed off recently when someone decided to convert a rocky bay to a sandy one artificially? I forgot the exact location though.

Did really Mepa allow that? Where there any fines? What the artificial sand removed by the irresponsible? Vera pajjiz tan-nejk !!!
