Senecio bicolor with fasciation

Post by RB » Mon Jun 16, 2008 2:59 pm

Noted one plant exhibiting serious fasciation in Gozo, Dahlet Qorrot area. Never before seen one this way.

It was, perversely, very attractive and seemed otherwise 100% healthy.

Hope this is of interest to the more scientifically inclined among us.

Unfortunately no camera.

Well done RB and coincidently, I also found this 'phenomenon' on Senecio bicolor (at San Blas) which puzzled me a lot at first glance. Well we can explain it as 'scherzi tan-natura' one-offs for the moment.

Sorry for my abandonship on the forum, but I will explain it all - matters of health :-(
