Meanwhile I looked under every stone, to find photos of Lobelias,
but they all were quite different. And the place, where I found it,
is situated on the stormy top of a cliff with no gardens or hanging
baskets around. Does nobody know more about this Lobelia???

The bible does not know it and the vexillium(? Fahne ) looks
more like Trifolium, but I am the greenhorn and You the expert!!!

Plant lives in a very wet aerea. It is about 40 cm, flowers ca1.5 to 2cm and leaves about 5 cm

It looks like the leaves of Acanthus mollis, but those, I know,
are darker green.

Smilax aspera

Could it be, that my English is too bad, when I understood, that this is the only smilax in Malta? In Gozo I found two ssp, one like that on Your photo and another one with white-spotted leaves.
The last one I saw only in Wied ir-Rhien and the other nearly everywhere.

Plant found 25.5.05 on Gozo

Size flowers 1.5x1.0cm, leaves 3x1cm
It lives in small dry rainpools in a rocky place.
