rosa is at wied incita in very few numbers on zebbug side of valley - I am sure Sdravko will smell it out from a long way off - it is positioned exactly as at wied anglu - north facing and just below cliff face. oops sorry again - do not know what the dried plant is - def not rosa though cos that one is evergreen !

and no the wife does not mind a joke on her cooking now and then

mwp - slide three definitely salvja tal-madonna ( phlomis fruticosa )
not very frequent plant but common enough at incita
four is scilla sicula -should be in flower in a months time and one of my favorite flowers

no need to be ashamed - you did well in fact - I also sometimes pluck up courage and tell people off - not easy but sometimes you just have to do it.
unfortunately yes narcissus is still sold commercially

I am not sure it can be saved as PDF though someone I know said he did just that ...there is quite a lot to read though... also I suppose you would have to ask permission from MEPA per kirjanza though it is a public document

Keith - the selmunett wall lizard is in fact decreasing rapidly - apparently due to the large amount of rats on the island - there is a reference to this in the state of the environment report ( on mepa website ) which i sippose you have already had a look at

PERSICARIA ?

Like Ghansar way back I ask what species ? perhaps Polygonum lapathifolium ? . This was found last week at the bottom of the old zabbar - marsascala road next to a sign reading Bidni. There is a small population only and I suppose it is quite rare too.

any ideas folks ?

MWP - I agree with Robcar - send pics to press. I was at Selmun last Sunday and I saw two different people with big freshly cut bunches - and allajbierek they looked the educated sort too.
