Further Information:
This species is found in Eastern Europe, from Greece to Italy and up to the southern Balkan countries. It measures 45mm average length and mainly feeds on Reseda (mignonette) plants. Flight time March-October. This species is nearly identical to Pontia daplidice, the latter being present in Western and Northern parts of Europe.
