Further Information:
A fairly small dragonfly (36-45mm)
Male's abdomen is entirely pruinescent blue and unmarked, and 2 stripes can usually be seen on the grey/blue thorax. The face is grey/brown and the pterostigma is yellow.

The female is golden/brown, has pale antehumeral stripes and a narrow golden pterostigma.
