Further Information:
This species of bug is widespread in the continent of Europe and frequently found in Malta, on many different types of plants but often on on Asphodel (Asphodelus aestivus) and Squills (Urginea/Drimia and Scilla spp.) The adults are 1cm in length while the nymphys are about half as much. Easily spotted in March-May and are often solitary.

It was previously known as Capsides lineolatus and due to a typing mistake on a popular guide book, it is also found with the name Capsodes lineolatus.
